Bernardete Lima

She taught at the Municipal School of Arts “Maestro Fêgo Camargo” in Taubaté, in the following segments: Drawing, Painting and Engraving for children, teenagers and adults; at the Santa Cecília Music Faculty in Pindamonhangaba and at his atelier Studio de Arte Bernardete Lima.

She has held several solo exhibitions in Taubaté, Campos de Jordão and São José dos Campos, as the pioneer of the Giz Pastel Technique in Vale do Paraíba.

She participated in international exhibitions in the following countries: France, Portugal, Spain, Italy and the United States. Participating in collective exhibitions, including: SOCIARTE – 'Society of Friends of Art' in São Paulo from 1997 – 2003, at the Atlético Monte Líbano club, alongside great names in National art.

She received awards in Plastic Arts Salons, which she participated in Brazil and abroad. She was awarded a Bronze Medal at the 51st Salão Paulista de Belas Artes on 01/2000.

For 10 years she has been dedicated to the watercolor technique, for which she has a passion, having participated in 9 International Meetings of Watercolorists in Paraty, receiving Honorable Mention at the 3rd Meeting in 2011.

She participated in workshops with renowned watercolor artists such as: Luiz Zeminian, Gonzalo Carcamo, Renato Palmuti, Antônio Giacomin, Eudes Corrêa (Portugal), Fernando Pena (Uruguay), Carlos Avelino, Ari de Góes Jr, etc. She has participated in watercolor exhibitions and salons, such as Urbino In Acquarello 2018, IV Watercolor Salon in Piracicaba and 1st Taubaté Visual Arts Biennial.
