Marina Martinelli

Marina Martinelli was born in São Paulo (1944) where she lives and works.
Graduated in fine arts from Faculdade de Artes Santa Marcelina and Didactics from PUC SP, in 1968 and post graduated in watercolor in 2001, from Faculdade de Artes Santa Marcelina.
Painter, (Watercolor and Batik) and Engraver. Began engraving and watercolor with Iole Di Natale, batik with Kasuco Abe, also participated in philosophical studies on art with Prof. Dr. Sergio Lima.
Since 1999 he has met monthly in his studio, artists from the Angatuba Group, for studies and reflections on art and artistic making.
This group also promotes exhibitions in which they exhibit their works.
Marina has been a member of the Núcleo de Aquarelistas, ABA, since 1987 and was Vice-President of ABA Núcleo,2007-2015.
He has participated in several solo and group exhibitions of watercolor, batik and metal engraving, in Brazil and abroad.
He has works in private collections and in national and foreign museums.
Awarded at the 1st Quadrennial International Watercolor in São Paulo, 2003.
She has works published in ABA's watercolor book - AQUARELA A COR DA MEMÓRIA - 2012 - pages: 82, 83, 84 and 85.
