WORLD WATERCOLOR DAY

The institution of this was the work of the  conductor  and artist  Alfredo Guati Rojo  (1918-2003), founder and director of the  Museo Nacional de La Acuarela  in Mexico City, which, in accordance with UNESCO, established, since 2000, the day November 23, as  World Watercolor Day.  The celebrations of the  World Watercolor Day  in Brazil started in 2001 at the initiative of  Iole Di Natale , this artist who, equally, is one of the biggest fighters for the diffusion of watercolor in Brazil.
